Excitement over LET Results release escalates

Ellen (real name hidden for privacy) admitted that she was unable to have regular sleep for days. She also said she feels anxious most of the time.

In her early 20’s, Ellen is among thousands of fresh graduates who took the Licensure Examination for Teachers or LET.

The exam was conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission last September 30 in regional testing centers accross the country.

It is normal for teacher hopefuls to feel what Ellen feels now. The excitement over the release of the list of passers of the teachers board exam excalates as the days pass by.

We’ve been posting LET results and updates for several years. Our observation is that takers start to browse the internet for announcements and news about the LET results 3 weeks to a month before the exact day of release, and then the anxiousness gets higher a week before the big day.

For those who can’t bear the feeling, we have an unsolicited advise.

Everybody knows and understand that you must pass the exam in order for you to land on a stable job and for your family to have a better life, but you must keep yourself busy so you will forget about the results, at least for now, to get rid of anxiousness.

PRC Baguio regional office already announced on its official site that the LET results will be released in 40 working days after the exam. While it’s still pending, it would be better if you’ll try to find a temporary job.

Opportunities are everywhere, you just need to find and grab them. You can apply for a job in a call center, a local government unit, or a private educational institution that does not require a professional license to teach.

It’s actually the same friendly advise we gave Ellen.

She already had started to gather the necessary requirements for her job application. Ellen said she will apply in a business establishment once her documents are complete.
